Happy 66th Birthday Karen Carpenter!

One of the purest voices this side of heaven.  One of the greatest pop voices of our time. Karen Anne Carpenter (March 2, 1950 - February 4, 1983)

  1. Man do I agree! Her song selection wasn't always the best, but I was so young and naive then, I even sang along with her silly ones. A pure sweet voice indeed... it almost hurts to imagine what she might've developed into if she'd lived long enough to chart her own course into more sophisticated music. Great voices like hers just get better with time. Anyway, apologies for rambling: super collage! I love the hand-drawn parts. Is that your work, dear Angie? =smile=

    1. Thanks Fi. I still sing to her songs :). And I WISH I had drawn the background. It is the work of Prof. Otto Rieth, Architect. From an antiquated book entitled: A Collection of Coloured Plates from Academy Architecture.
