A Party of One at A Party for One

Found photograph of a man posing on a rock in the woods.  Colorful additions from a Dover copyright free image book.

'A horse, a horse, my kingdom for a horse'!

A very private party!

Little Richard and his brother Edward have just swapped places with the lady on the chair and you might be thinking that the horse is heading in the wrong direction but he is waiting., not for the changing of the guard but for the changing of the hats.

This Week's Theme: 'Let's Party or Celebrate'!

Because it's the last theme of this month I thought 'Let's go out with a Bang', there's always an excuse to celebrate or party.
I've enjoyed all your great collages this month, thanks a lot!

Two Happy Exquisite Corpses .....

..... Standing in front of a Graffiti Wall.

This Week's Theme: The Exquisite Corpse

It's the most favorite game I play with my granddaughters .... draw a head, fold the paper, pass it on, draw a body, fold the paper, pass it on, draw the legs etc..
Of course we must collage our own exquisite corpse without passing them on, but I'm sure we can create some nice corpses sec or even place them in some nice situations, f.i. exquisite corpse waiting for the bus, or riding a bike...
Have fun.

Here's the Letter L

The Letter L stands for don't Loose your head to the Left hand while Leaning over a Long Longed for LoveLetter with a Last Lullaby from Lovely Alice Living in Liverpool and Listen to the Lazy Little Lad Laughing by the Left turn 'cause he can dress himself (I think that's a Lie) whilst Looking at the
Lousy Labrador with his Lunatic eyes...

S is for sea serpents and ships

This is a joint effort between my 15-yr-old art student and moi. She made the ships and serpents, with collage,  and I made the blues and green and the orange S, with markers. Her name is Grace d'Eustachio.

I'm still having trouble with getting upstairs to my collage studio. And just to make things more difficult, the "c" key on my laptop has died. So this is typed on my iPad.

The 'N' stands for Numbers

I also invented a machine, which I think might be very handy on several occasions ....
it's the 'Read-my-mind-pop-up-and-spit-it-out-numbers' machine.

Already the FIFA has made me an offer ;))

typographie

This was fun...a combination of images culled from various sources.  The young man is a real found photograph.

A simple A

This must be the A of Anatomy ....
I wanted to do something minimalistic

This Week's Theme: The Alphabet

From A to Z ..... it's time for the Alphabet.
You can focus on the typography or use letters in your collage, or just make a collage and come up with a good title like last week's ... the C is for Crime Scene..
This must be a P for a piece of cake ;))

I Told You No Wire Hangers EVER!

Most of us are aware of "Mommie Dearest" and her alleged beating of daughter Christina with wire hangers.  But I recently read that Joan Crawford admitted to having had abortions...perhaps some back-alley?  And the wire hanger symbolized those, hence the rage at seeing them in Christina's closet?

This Week's Theme: The Crime Scene

Hi all, I'm your host for this month and for this theme I was inspired by one of Sabine's last collages on Miriskum 'Let's go for a little ride' (I hope you will upload that one).

Have fun!
