Halloween Spirit

I just love Halloween and I have a lot of resource material.
Altered 8 x 10 (faded) hand-colored photo of a woman posing with her 1930s automobile.

Halloween Greeting

Altered found photograph using images from a book about Halloween.

Trick or treat .....

We don't have a tradition of Halloween over here in Holland, but I managed to create 2 monsters ;))
I'm not sure who frightens who ..

Trick Or Treat?

One from the archive to start.

THEME of the week - Halloween

Sorry this is a bit late. Where do the days go!? Spooky collages wanted for this week. Things that go bump in the night and give you a fright! No tricks just treats please.

That Girl Belongs to Yesterday

There was no theme for this week yet, so I decided to post one more on The Kollage Kit for this excellent theme. This is another from my archives.

She's A Rainbow

Ron mentioned this song in one of his comments this week and it reminded me I created this collage a long time ago for this very theme. So here is one from my archives!

say the word

Sorry I've been here again, gone again... I still can't walk more than 50 feet, and it hurts quite a bit. I've been depressed, too, for several months. But I'm still committed to making collages. =smile=

Girl

Made mostly from photo copy of old sheet music cover that's been knocking around on my work table for a few months. Hear original song on YouTube HERE.

Revolver

Another title I found was "Revolver".
Many collagists made a gun, shooting flowers - and here is mine.

Carry that weight

I´m not a big Beatles fan and I do not know many songs -
so I just googled the list of all songs from A - Z and found "Carry that weight" and made this collage. Now I see that Michael already did a collage for that title, too - but .... here is my interpretation.

Pop Go The Beatles

Theme of a radio show the boys did for the BBC called "Pop Go The Beatles" which some snippets of can be found on YouTube - especially a series called the "Beebs Lost Beatles Tapes".

Carry That Weight

Another from the archive. Hopefully will find time to make a new collage soon.

A day in the life ....

I read the news today, oh boy
four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire

Looks a bit like the one last week .. before glueing I played with the elements and made some pictures ...
I thought this one fits the last couplet of the lyrics
(getting a bit nostalgic listening to old Beatles songs ;))

A mysterious page

Here you see my little kid brother who's about to uncover what lies beneath this mysterious page that seems to scare the rest of my family ... well except for my mother and my brother and me;))

Lost & Found

Interesting news story in yesterday's newspaper.
Timely for this week's theme!

THEME - What Lies Beneath

Guess I'll be doing the themes for October. Many thanks to Fi for all the great themes for last month. Interpret this one any which way you want.

Always looking great in a 'Rorschach' dress!

I've been making a lot of 'rorschach' inkblots lately and a lot of them look like dresses to me ... so I made this advertisement out of one of them.

Who Doesn't Love Jello?

All the text comes from a deconstructed Maxfield Parrish advertisment, circa 1922. Torso and feet are a costume by Benois for the ballet Petroucka. Jello skirt courtesy of a vintage 1950s magazine advertisement. Pasted down on an end paper from a book.

An answer to the problem of underweight

Dear friends - I´m back from my summer brake, from my trip to China, back to KK.
This is not one of my best collages - I know  - but I wanted to set a sign that I am in again.
