Initially felt it was bad making people jump from balconies..but with an added soft landing it now looks more like a fun pastime.

BACK TO THE 50s -- 1956 to be precise

 

A long time ago I was in Paris and I purchased a 1956 copy of a fabulous French fashion magazine entitled "L'Officiel". That is where these lovely models were plucked from. I put them against the backdrop of Henri Rousseau's "A Walk in the Forest" (circa 1886).

 The house we are clearing has piles of old Sunday supplements. I picked this one as it had 3 people on the cover….almost every advert was for tobacco or alcohol!… The seventies were another place!

I am reading the nearly 1,000 page biography of Funny Girl Barbra Streisand and she inspired this collage. When acting with a leading man Barbra was not attracted to, to get her in the mood, she would think of chocolate cake!
