Yes, I love dinosaurs, but I do come by it honestly: my father was a geologist who'd done some paleontology research, so my favorite childhood toys were not dolls or toy cars, but plastic dinosaurs. However, "prehistoric" doesn't have to mean dinosaurs. There's our own ancestors, early man, cave paintings, plus all those huge weird mammals in North & South America that are extinct... Did you know that Homo neanderthalis and Homo denisovia interbred with Homo sapiens? We have Neanderthal genes! Anyway, have fun...
