eight nipples

With charcoal pencil (for incense smoke). Large creature and worshiper with censer from "Adoration (Der Schmerbauch)" ["Adoration (The Potbelly)"] by Alfred Kubin, ca. 1901. "DADA siegt!" means "DADA triumphs!"—a slogan seen often on Dada publications.

I have no idea what the blue oval with the eyeball? tree? fish? is about, but it was right there after "DADA siegt!"

  1. The 8 is the great Karmic equalizer, a force that just as easily creates as it destroys. When the 8 comes knocking, you can be assured that you will reap what you've sown. The 8 balances the material and immaterial worlds. At its best, it is as spiritual as it is materialistic.

    Great collage Fi! DADA siegt!

    1. Fascinating numerology info, Angie! I had no idea 8 was such an ambivalent number.

  2. I love your Dada collage Fi, I didn't recognize it as being your collage at first sight (that's what I do .... trying to guess who made the collage before reading the name) ... I thought this was a Sabine one ;))

  3. I'll give you a clue, Jo, about how you could've told it is mine and not Sabine's: the all-over background. She can correct me if I'm wrong, but Sabine doesn't usually have the paper of the background the same, all over the piece.
