as charm, beauty, and creativity. In Roman mythology they were known as
the Gratiae.

ReplyDeleteThanks Sabine! I found a vintage book about beauty and then bought two more copies online because I like the photos. I have used the book numerous times but NEVER thought of repeating one of the images. This is a good challenge.
DeleteUpdated indeed!., but still looking a bit 'vintage' .... I remember myself with a 'curl' like this woman on my forehead ... exactly in the middle ;)) I think it was in the sixties.

My mother used to say a poem about a girl with a curl: "There once was a girl/ and she had a curl/ right in the middle of her forehead. And when she was good/ she was very, very good/ and when she was bad she was horrid!"
