I think it fits the theme perfectly. On Verteran's Day the U.S. remembers the sacrifice of veterans who lost life and limb and sanity thanks to being embroiled in the conflict of war. My own grandfather, who served in "The Great War" (WWI) came back "shell-shocked" as my mother liked to call it. We now call it PTSD. He died very young. Sadly, I never knew him. However, he was artistic and an amazing draftsman (map-maker in the war) and I thank him for my creative genes.
