THEME of the Week - Black & White

Sorry I was asleep and missed Thursday! All the days seem to merge into one another for some reason? Monochrome collages only this week if possible though a little colour is permitted to cheer us up! #staysafe

THEME: A BANNER (first attempt!)

Made the banner while chatting on the phone with a friend.
Not too happy with it...forgot to make it longer so had to extend it
by adding a piece of paper and the jaunty teddy.
Will try my hand at another soon.

A Banner by me.

I think I need to add more odd things on the shelves.....

This weeks THEME - A Banner .

Time to change the banner at the top I think so try and make it the same shape as the one above - maybe slightly longer if possible. KOLLAGE KIT in large letters preferably somewhere in the design but not essential. Have fun #staysafe !

A Man's Best Friend is his Duck

By way of a tribute to comedy hero Goodie Tim Brooke-Taylor
who died earlier this week.

Here's Tim, Graeme & Bill on TOTP 1978 with the song.

FOWL PLAY: Chicken Juggling, The Sport of Angels

This oldie but goodie came to mind with this theme.
As I recall, I cut the angel from a piece of antique sheet music.
I have a lot of that cosmic scrapbooking paper and it was perfect for this collage!

This weeks THEME - Fowl Play

This is Hazel's idea as she recently cut out lots of chickens from a Poultry Keeping For Fun and Profit magazine! So, have fun with this. A chicken or a duck must appear somewhere in your collage. We might stretch it to a goose - it depends how generous we are feeling!

SUPERMARKET SWEEP: Keep Your Ungloved Grubby Paws Off My Fruit!

Today on the radio I heard someone say that fruit is the most picked up, pinched and put down produce in a grocery store.
I had already formulated a collage about this yesterday and executed it this morning.
Since the pandemic, I only buy frozen fruit and canned fruit, unless it comes in a bag (i.e. bag of apples or oranges, etc.)

Supermarket Sweep...in space. (Jones' Little Sausages)

I really need a space suit to go to the shops....

This week's THEME - Supermarket Sweep

We are just back from an early morning walk and Hazel nipped into the local Co-op for some things we lacked. Supermarkets can be scary places to visit these days. Have fun creating the supermarket of your dreams or the one of your nightmares! What foods do you crave. What have they run out of? What do you wear when you go there? etc.

What's he building in there? Limited resources

I only have a few bits and no glue. The junk mail through the door has stopped. I will go foraging litter for next one.

WHAT'S HE BUILDING IN THERE?

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS 'SPOKEN WORD' RECORDING BY TOM WAITS!
It is so ominous, I hope my collage portrays this.
By the way the shadow of the photographer is actually in the photograph.

What's He Building In There? - Self Isolating Is Going Well

"What's he building in there? What the hell is he building in there? He has subscriptions to those magazines He never waves when he goes by And he's hiding something from the rest of us He's all to himself, I think I know why He took down the tire-swing from the pepper tree He has no children of his own, you see He has no dog, he has no friends And his lawn is dying And what about those packages he sends? What's he building in there?" ..........................Lyrics by Tom Waits

New THEME - What's He Building In There?

Thanks for Angie for her themes for March. My turn now. So self isolated befuddlement abounds and Hazel just reminded me - she though this would be a good theme and so do I. I have been making papier mache objects with filling s made of household junk. So recent photos on Facebroke have had this attached doo dad. Based on a Tom waits song of the same name. Have fun and stay safe!
