Homage To Libby Hall - Doggalganger
From the archives. This could have been one for the last theme too! Sorry not had time to do any collaging this week what with all the gadding about and socialising. Our old friend Linda came to stay three days first of all. She has a free bus pass being over 60 so took the opportunity to get the bus from Dollegua? in North Wales all the way to Wrexham on the Welsh border. And then a bus from Wrexham to Chester where we picked her up just outside the museum. This took 4 hours! Anyway, so after we waved her goodbye on the following Sunday we had a surprise phone call from some other friends from Guernsey who were over to see their relatives in Lancashire and wondered if they could drop by for a chat and some food. So after an hour they turned up in their massive UHT ( Oh no thats milk?! HTV? ) a huge campervan thing more like a small coach! They stopped a couple of hours and the following day came over again for a lovely day out at Tatton Park where they have a walled garden and other delights. We are wondering who will turn up next?
Ah ha! Just saw this post, Michael. Sounds like quite a journey for your friend and quite a nice time with your other friends. We have not had a lot of out of town company in the last couple of years due to pandemic times but I am sure it will start up again. Can be a bit exhausting when the visitors are back to back!
