Lily Pons (1898-1976) had to keep her hands in great shape when doing the dishes or dying her hair as she was a French-American operatic lyric coloratura soprano and actress who had an active carer from the late 1920s through the early 1970s.

ReplyDeleteThanks ... I have been trying to use the "Pinkies" rubber gloves in a collage for awhile. Cut those out of a "mail-in" card from a 1960s beauty parlor magazine ... free boxes of Pinkies with a subscription!
