Filled to the MAX

We live in a pretty full house..we both collect stuff..toys,books,material,more toys, tins,DVDs cassettes, records and of course plenty of art on the walls.

My sister collects a lot of ceramic things…so this is what I was thinking of when I did this collage.

Maximilian To The Max .......................................Personal Growth

I got the wrong end of the stick trying to figure this one out. My take on it was from largest to smallest - hence the rows of cabbage/heads! Doh! I will have another go soon.

Theme: Maximalism to The Max!

To the Max in art, design, colour, interiors, fashion etc…

Collages featuring “More is More” in everything.

Include the kitchen sink if need be, just don’t run out of glue!

what's-that-sound?: The Sound of Music

What's That Sound ? ............................Ten Cool Cats

The sound of ten cool cool cats would be pretty alarming I reckon especially if they were fighting! Also a great song ( find it on You Tube ) by The Beatles and others. I forget who did the original version?

What's that Sound???

Music to my ears.

(Discovered Joni Mitchell in 1970, will never tire of listening to her.)

What’s that sound?

Albert hoped he would be able to hear the trees growing when he set up his hearing trumpets in the forest.

Instead the sound of the birds swearing at each other deafened him….”get off my branch you b*stard” he heard them screeching at each other…

(I am convince most bird song is territorial and they are basically saying..”get orf my land” 😁)
