Final Act

I have tried and tried to create something new for this theme but am posting from the archives.  Sometimes nothing works, but this fits the theme well.

Crows of the Unconscious

To see a crow in your dream represents death and the darker aspects of your character. The dream could also be pointing out your annoying habits. Alternatively, the crow may be conveying a message from your unconscious.

Owl Dreams

To see an owl in your dream symbolizes wisdom, insight, magic, expanded awareness and virtue. You are highly connected to your intuitive senses and psychic power. The owl is also synonymous with death, darkness and the unconscious. The appearance of an owl may be telling you to let go of the past or certain negative behaviors.

The Great American Dream

I thought it best to post these two together since they complement each other so well.

Wheel of Chance

I'm really in the mood to push myself today-- this ad I sliced up and wove back together and the words were too good to toss so I added a collage poem.

Reflecting Grace

I must say, it felt rather good to get back to some minimalism today!

Sparrow Worship

I am a huge lover of birds, this year I hope to be able to identify a few more.  Sparrows are a huge challenge for me and many others for obvious reasons.  My other challenge is forcing myself to work outside of my comfort zone of using such spare backgrounds.

Uncensored, unlimited

My only real resolution this year is to be fearless with my art- to take chances, to not self censor or impose limits.  The main image was the cover of a 1938 Esquire magazine rescued from the recycling center, it was right on top of one of many towering stacks this morning - finally allowed scissors to touch it.

She departed this world for another

and went to look for the loons.

3 pairs of loons in this one - I made a big mess this week, looking for things in threes, this piece finally came together late Wednesday.

Dreamscape

Scraps that had to be dusted prior to use, they've been on desk so long!

Extra

I decided to go more abstract this time and cleared off quite a few odds and ends
