Climate Change of Life
Backgrounds from children's science books. Man with a neck brace from a medical book. That woman is Maude Stettiner (1931) painted by Pavel Tchelitchew (1898-1957) Russian born surrealist painter, set and costume designer.
Oh man, I love this! it's spare, it's striking, it's surreal... it's stunning. And thank you so much, Angie, for introducing me to Pavel Tselitchew. He worked in so many different styles, it's amazing: I especially like his fantastic stuff.
Thank you for the lovely comments and you are welcome. I love my art books (bought specifically for collage elements) as they introduce me to artists too. I knew his name, but not his work. I Googled him and was blown away too!
