Arising from the ashes.

 

London was very damaged during WW2…even when I moved there in the mid 1980s the was signs that London was still recovering….plots of land that were old bomb sites….swiftly put up council housing on land that a few years early would have been bomb sites…even the house we lived in in Lambeth Walk felt like it had tilted during a bomb blast (over the road had been levelled during the war).

Rebuilding is a slow and steady process….

Also added a Portland frog..all hail the frog.

Summer in the north of England.

 I hope everyone is keeping cool….quite rare to have a hot summer UP north in England..always keeps my coat and scarf nearby.
