SACRIFICE REMEMBERED: Jesus died for our sins and so that we may enjoy the goodness of strawberry shortcake and pancakes


This is a series I made quite a while ago.
I assembled various cut-up vintage scenic postcards into interesting backgrounds, adding photos of food, children and Jesus, whose image I really love.

      I am quite the atheist...however, I just happen to like images of Jesus. When Lennon & Harrison adopted his "look" circa 1969 it made me look at the images of Jesus my mom had around the house in a new way. Now, all I can see is a good-looking hippie type. Love that glowing sacred heart as well. I hope I didn't offend anyone. These are meant in good fun.

      They are good fun, especially the pancakes! I must admit I was pretty close to the Jesus look in around 1969 but the sacred heart always alluded me.!
