Theme: Merzy-Beat
This week, I thought we could create collages inspired by the Life & Work of Mr Kurt Schwitters (1887-1948).
It’s my last theme for January today but I don’t mind continuing the themes into February if that’s okay.

Playtime - The Collagist 2010
Playtime makes me think of making collages as it's the nearest thing to play for me! This collage is from the archives.
This week's theme: Playtime
The daft things we do for fun, amusement and distraction.
Let the recreation creation begin.

3-D Collage by Ka ( new member)
Ka from Holland expressed a wish to join us and sent these lovely images of an assemblage box she's made expressly for the 3-D challenge . So to get them in quick before the new theme starts I have taken the liberty of adding them here. Hopefully K will introduce herself when she signs in.

NEW -- JANUARY 1st TRADITION: THE POLAR BEAR PLUNGE
Thursday 7 January 2021
Theme: NEW
It’s a New Year of course, so collages based around “New”.
In this first week of 2021, it's hard to be optimistic especially with the news over the last few days.
Maybe new artwork and creativity can help us get through.

2020 Under Attack.
Seem to have lost my silliness for this one...taken a Quater Mass vibe. The last 5 days have had over 50,000 new Covid cases A DAY...I feel the country needs to be shut down for a while as this is getting out of control.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! 2021 is here!
My last collage of 2020 was this experiment with these cut-out shapes (In) Action Figures.
