Pet Shop (Boys) - How Much Is That Doggie In The Window?

Pet Shop

Mavis wasn’t sure the local pet shop told her the truth…the kitten seemed to have grown larger than her last cat and the puppy was a lot smellier than she expected……..

Pet Shop (Boys) - Dog Ends

From the archives.

Theme Of The Week - The Pet Shop ( Boys )

So inspired by the documentary on BBC iplayer we watched last night about the band - this can be either about them ( lots of arty videos to inspire you maybe?) or just pet shops in general. Was never really a big fan of the duo but do have their Greatest Hits on CD I picked up from a charity shop. I must give it a spin sometime! have fun!

room-101: Soap Operas

Room 101 - Road Kill

From the archives. Nobody likes to see squashed animals on the road. On our road trips to Yorkshire we see quite a lot. There are actually poeple who take road kill home to cook! They definately belong in Room 101.

RECORD BREAKERS on ATC's

Here we have documented (on these ATCs!) record breaking oversized images of an APPLE, TREE PEONY and STARFISH. Thanks to our lovely models for showing us the true to life scale! (Please click on the image to make it larger.)

Artist Trading Cards - Count The Shapes

Hazel gave me some card stock made from old cereal packets so I used a couple of those and kept some remnants of its previous life. I was amused by the old candle box card and found one of the Two Ronnies to feature in it. That 4 candles sketch is forever etched on my brain!

atcs: Record Breaking Events?

Family with the world spinning top record. (ATCs)

Images gleaned from one of Dave’s 2001 Life magazines.

Theme..Artist Trading cards (Record Breakers)

We haven’t done Artist Trading Cards in a while..(..and I already have some cards cut ready to use).

2.5inches by 3.5 inches.

The starting point is “record breakers”. (Or you can just do what you want).

Look forward to seeing your results.

HEADLINES: 2 ASTRONAUTS WALK AND WORK FOR HOURS ON MOON'S SURFACE

In our household, we do not subscribe to hard copy newspapers any more.

Cost is prohibitive. BUT I happened to remember an oversized book I "thrifted"

entitled FRONT PAGE, a book of historic headlines from the NY Times!

Tenants facing no-fault eviction ordeal.

Moving is never fun..especially when you collect a lot of interesting stuff…and you are given no choice…really horrible feeling not having a secure home.

The Man in the red tie is our Labour MP, Mike Amesbury.

Theme of the Week - HEADLINES

Pick a headline in your local paper or newspaper and make a collage inspired by it. Add a photo of the newspaper headline if you can. Have fun!
