SUPERMARKET SWEEP: Keep Your Ungloved Grubby Paws Off My Fruit!

Today on the radio I heard someone say that fruit is the most picked up, pinched and put down produce in a grocery store.
I had already formulated a collage about this yesterday and executed it this morning.
Since the pandemic, I only buy frozen fruit and canned fruit, unless it comes in a bag (i.e. bag of apples or oranges, etc.)

  1. Great ! We face the same problems here. managed to get a mixed box of fruit and vege from the milkman who delivers to Hazel's Mom and Sister. Amongst the massive cabbage, spuds, carrots and onions were two rock hard pears, two plums and peach ! Thankfully the pears are just stating to reipen and we shared one yesterday - after we gave it a good wash of course!

    1. Yes, I am now longing for something more than what I stated above (canned, frozen, bagged) and I think by next week I will give something a try...those pears looked good the last time I was shopping!

    1. Thank you Ron. I usually grab my fruit with my hand in the bag I am going to put it in, and then turn the bag inside out. My rule is, if you touch it you cannot put it back! (But if your hand is in a bag, then you can! (wink wink)
