The bloke at the bottom is Peter Brown, Brian Epstein's and The Beatles personal assistant. He's mentioned in the song and he was Best Man at John & Yoko's Wedding.
One of my fave Fabs songs..sadly one of their last singles and it features only John & Paul.
Great combo of cartoon Beatles + the real John. I have always wondered what happened to the bag that the chocolate cake was eaten in...it MUST exist somewhere. I know I would have taken it home if I was on the cleaning staff of the hotel. (If that is where it took place.)
The only related bit of trivia I can muster is that I once grabbed a badge that John and Yoko made that was in a big jar in the Robert Frazer gallery back in 69 ? when thay had an exhibition entitled "You Are Here" - that's what it said on the badge anyway - in tiny letters . I still have it somewhere. The exhibition consisted of obects by Yoko and John's rude drawings.

Cool to have a "You Are Here" badge. Yes, there were a few art happenings from the Lenonos. I must say I did like it when John & Yoko turned up on TV shows like David Frost back in the day.
