Great collage! It is always nice to get to know bands I've never heard of before. I was surprised to find out "Half man, half biscuit" is used to describe women. I thought it might mean the same as the Dutch phrase "Een zachtgekookt eitje" (A soft-boiled egg), to describe a spineless person. I keep learning!
OMG this is so clever and I never heard of this band and now I want a fig roll (as I am ready for my afternoon cup of coffee). I will GOOGLE the band and hopefully a YouTube of them exists and I look forward to a listen to them as I sip, sadly without a fig roll...

ReplyDeleteThanks Ka. Great band - extremely funny. I never knew that about HMHB meaning. I just thought it a daft band name when they emerged in the 80s...
DeleteYum! I do like a fig roll. I do like the band too but only have a cassette somewhere in the dusty recesses of my cupboards! Nice one Ron!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michael. Oh yes, Fig Rolls...dunk-tastic!
