Good one Josephine! My dad made sure we always had a good television in the house and I think we had the first COLOR TV on the block! Your collage reminds me of the awesome GRUNDIG shortwave radio he picked up for my brother who enjoyed collecting QSL CARDS from the countries he tuned into. I fondly remember our family consumerism of the 1960s which expanded our world.
Well it really was a huge event that first television! Nice memories Angie! I think we got our first television around the sixties, before that we used to go over to a friends house every wednesday afternoon to watch the children's program.
Nice one Josephine! I hate to think how many TV's radios and tape recorders etc. my family and I have got through over the years - it must run into the hundreds!
You're right Michael, all these items evolved real fast over the years!
This is a very advanced 60ies-family that they have already so many TVs and radio for all their members! Phantastic!
