Eight Fifteen AM
The moment we Americans exploded an atom bomb on Hiroshima, Japan. From a work-in-progress collaged book about growing up in the shadow of the atom bomb.
Thanks, all, it's a project that's been in process for a long time. Some of it's hard (I obsessed over Hiroshima in high school and it's still hard to get your brain around), but some of it's pretty funny, too (duck & cover, anyone?), much like it really was, I suppose. I started the project as a way of giving my daughters a peek at what it was like to grow up in that era and I will finish it...some day.
Hard stuff - great work! I´m deeply impressed, Lynn! When are you going to finish this collaged book - and is there any chance to see it?
ReplyDeleteHarrowing....and excellent! I applaud your choice of topic.
