Buskers / Around The Old Joanna

Did a few collages today as I had to gallery sit at VAC in Northwich.  It was very hot so my brain seized up around 2pm and the collages suffered as a result.  Happiest with "Buskers" and "Around The Old Joanna"  (Cockney rhyming slang ) which uses bits from previous collages.

  1. I like them both and I do not see that your brain seized up! I like the different heads on the bodies - and why is the one guy wearing a gas mask?! And the buskers are reminding me of my trip to India, years ago!

  2. Very good. And do I spy Big Al Davies in his fez?

  3. Thanks both. Not sure why I used the gas mask. Yes, that's Big Al in the fez and Roger Stevens next to him.

  4. A very worthwhile afternoon, W, particularly like the Buskers because of how all the color seems to pool at the bottom of the piece and dissolve into monochrome grays at the top. Lovely.
