The dream forest is from D. Gage Taylor's "Mescaline Woods" (1970). The photos are by Man Ray (1929). The writing is René Magritte's : it's French for "I do not see the [woman] hidden in the forest."

Hey why not Fi! (Just kidding, I've already got one lined up for my first week of themes.) But I agree this is a great theme and we should revive it from time to time. And I really like this collage.
ReplyDeleteParticularly like these Man Ray photos with eyes wide shut...he does such fantastic photo portraits, love 'em. This theme seemed to bring out some intriguing images from everybody -- it was fun to do and fun to watch!
