In the Snow Lightly Falling...

Happy, happy holidays, everybody!

The title "in the snow lightly falling" is borrowed from a poem called "Solace," written by Dick Allen, the Poet Laureate of Connecticut.  The poem has been turned into a chorale piece to commemorate the child victims at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT.  If you'd like to read about it or here the piece, go here.  The poem and the chorale piece are quite beautiful.

  1. This is so beautiful, Lynn. What I would call bittersweet.

  2. What a lovely collage to go with Dick Allen's poem—I especially love the mountains, and the look on the child's face. I followed the link and listened to Allen reading "Solace"—thank you so much!
