The
passenger pigeon or
wild pigeon (
Ectopistes migratorius) is an extinct North American bird. Named after the French word
passager for "passing by", it was once the most abundant bird in North America, and possibly the world.
It accounted for more than a quarter of all birds in North America.
I like the mood of your collage, Angie - and the red dress, blowing in the wind.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sabine. I wanted to create a dream-like effect. I showed it to my friend who didn't get it. He didn't realize I placed the passenger pigeon and the moon and birds in the scene. Of course it is obvious the dress was strategically placed. It's a disconnected yet meaningful dream (to me).
DeleteI never saw such beautiful pigeons with such golden tone.
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed very dreamlike!
Marvellous collage Angie.
