Bruce Dreamed of Becoming a Botanist

Thought I would choose a favorite from my archives that fits this week's theme. Created in 2009 for a Flickr contact. I look forward to picking themes for the month of September. Where did the summer go?

False Grapes

Theme for this week: Fruit 'n' Veg.

Bidding fare-ye-well from the month of August. Thanks for all the great collages.

The Man Who Would Be King....

I'm back!  Vacation over, and it is a pleasure to lead off with a tasteless comment on our appalling Republican Presidential candidate...

This week's theme: Kings & Queens & The Establishment etc...

By Royal Decree, collages based on all things High Office, Monarchy and the titled Establishment.
Create your own self-styled Generals & Majors, Dukes of Earl, Kings of Wishful Thinking, Queens of Hearts or Prime Ministers of Mirth. We will be most amused!

Sky Dress

The new week´s theme isn´t chosen yet - so I have the chance to post one from the archives just to say: I´m back from vacations and hope to contribute now more regularly.

SUMMERTIME! - This week's theme

Yes, it's Summer…. (though you wouldn't think so currently in Scotland).
Anyway, everything related to that favourite season of Brian Wilson.
Holidays! Sun! Seaside Specials! Sand! Picnics! Re-runs on TV! Etc!
All acceptable for this week.
Three Cheers for The Sun!

(Sorry, this is appearing a day late, I don't know what happened as I had this post scheduled to go yesterday.)

Feline Fashion Shoot

Had a lot of fun with this one! The cats are posed within the foyer of The Strand Palace Hotel (photographed by Oliver Bernard, 1930).

What the Well Heeled Wear to the Art Museum

Started this one a long long time ago (2009) when I was entranced by my newly acquired vintage paper dolls. A found photo sits atop of a paper doll dress, I added the hint of arms behind her back and fashioned legs and shoes.

Clothes Encounters

Starting off the themes for August with collages based around clothing. All types from uniforms to high fashion, formal to informal accepted with even a chance to design some weird and wonderful collage-inspired outfits of your own. Have fun. Ron

High Priestess of the Temple of Cats & Card Tricks

Don't even ask how I came up with this one! LOL. The High Priestess is from a painting circa 1920 "Woman with Raised Arms" by Charles Hawthorne. The Roman temple is a rare example of Graeco-Italian architecture of the Republican era having been built about 100 BC.
