Theme: Flower Power

Well, I wish I could say I created a collage for last week's theme in the "nick of TIME" but alas it was not to be. I am sorry TIME escaped me. Next TIME I will be sure to make TIME to create a collage about TIME. In the meanTIME here is this week's theme. Have fun with it.

Theme: Time

Time pieces, time travel, the best of times,

the worst of times, moments in time,

the times they are a-changing...etc...etc...

Speaking of time, my challenge premiership ends today...

Thanks for all the fine collages these past months.

Keep cool! - Ron

Sir Peelalot demonstrates a nobleman's favorite way with oranges and (next) lemons

Joseph Hyacinthe François de Paule de Rigaud, comte de Vaudreuil was a Saint Dominican French nobleman at the court of King Louis XVI. He was the alleged lover of Gabrielle de Polastron, duchesse de Polignac, the favourite of Marie Antoinette and over whom he exerted a powerful influence. (Painting by Germain Drouais, 1758.)

Theme: Oranges & Lemons

Hope this citrus theme a-peels.

Could be the fruits, the colours, a president's boat race

or anything inspired by the traditional English folksong/rhyme.

"Chicken Juggling" the Sport of Angels

I know I still have one day to create but please forgive me for posting a collage from the archives. I have had another round of major disruption in our house renovations and it has been difficult for me to make time to think about making a new collage. So I present a collage I made 13 years ago and I hope you enjoy it again! I particularly love this collage as the angel is carefully cut from a piece of antique sheet music I found at a charity shop.

Pass the kitchen implement race.

Never been a big fan of sport…I only watch snooker.

I might watch this race though….😅.

Theme: Sports

I chose this as the football World Cup kicks off today

but the theme is open to all sport-related collages.

Let the games begin!

June's Pupaphobia Brought on Reoccurring Nightmares Specifically Involving Punch

Psychologists often link pupaphobia to the "uncanny valley" effect. This is the unsettling feeling people experience when confronted with objects that look almost, but not exactly, like real humans. Because puppets are inanimate objects that mimic living creatures and are controlled by someone else, they can evoke feelings of unpredictability and fear.

When Kate was in the Congo filming The African Queen...

...biscuits she had brought along were useful to keep the playful denizens of the jungle at bay.

BISQUICK BETTY

Bisquick was a staple in our house when I was growing up! A premixed baking blend to get those biscuits baked in a hurry. (You may see shadows on the images I pasted down using 3-D foam squares as Betty was made as a shadowbox collaged image I submitted to a craft challenge.) I will happily make another collage for this challenge from "scratch". Ha ha

MERZ (?) but all elements are FOUND

Found, that is, on my worktable and in my massive pre-cut images collection. Since we went on a holiday and I did not have time to collage once I got back I had nothing in my trash bin to rummage through BUT I do have quite a collection of pre-cutouts AND the background you see is from a lovely book I found that features graphic designs from countries such as Italy, Poland, Japan, etc. and I have been meaning to do something with it and it was sitting on my worktable.

Now my lady and a violin (goodness knows how long ago I cut those two out) have finally found a home!
