The others I found out of curiosity.
I must be WELL protected and aging backwards (LOL) as the towering mature Burr Oak Tree next door had what they call a "mast year" and dropped (most likely 10,000 acorns?? according to a website) and the squirrels who discovered it have now taken up residence around my house. I managed to sweep up, along with my neighbor, a very large bin of uneaten acorns that I am now throwing out handfuls of daily. Oh, wait a minute, that must be why they aren't leaving!! Ha ha ha. (Because at this point they picked the tree clean!)
Who knew? I certainly didn't! Great bit of snipping!
