DANCE: TRIPPING THE LIGHT FANTASTIC

This phrase evolved over time. Its origin is attributed to John Milton's 1645 poem L'Allegro which includes lines addressed to Euphrosyne, one of the Three Graces of Greek mythology:

Come, and trip it as ye go,

On the light fantastick toe.

  1. Lovely stuff! Funnily enough we are just back from looking at the massive moon experience at our local derelict theatre that seems to have new ease of life - sadly spoiled by too many toddlers and mad parents dashing about spoiling the ambience! Treating an "art installation" like a creche isnt really a good idea!
