My husband and I have often talked about a European Viking River Cruise.
I am going to admit I went through almost every art book I own looking for a VIKING!
No luck.
I remembered cutting out this lady at some point but could not find her either!
Then I discovered her in a collage I already made (which also happens to have a river).
So there!
So, from the archives and honestly about the ONLY bucket list item I truly have.

Brunhilda-tastic! Lots of commercials on British TV for these cruises, they look intriguing.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ron. The image of the woman sitting cozily in her cabin reading a book and knowing you just board and unpack and then get to sight see and shop and return to that cozy cabin make it all sound so appealing.
DeleteImage referring to the carefully crafted commercial that reels you in to such journey. They are very pricey adventures however!
DeleteYes, a very appealing idea - we have considered it but we don't like boats very much - not since that over night trip to Amsterdam on a clapped out old tug boat with a leaky toilet!
ReplyDeleteOh my that sounds absolutely horrendous! I actually am not a fan of any body of water as I nearly drowned when I was 8 or 9 years old...fell off the end of a dock reaching for a fishing pole...thank goodness my mother happened to look out the window from our cottage. I was really going down for the 3rd time, struggling, and my mom pulled me out of the drink! Frightening. I have never learned to swim as a result.
