CREATE A SELF PORTRAIT in COLLAGE

Totally inspired by Hannah Hoch (1889-1978) I first wanted to find a piece of art that had the shape of my face to collage on. And this background was perfect (however, I rotated the grey egg shape from horizontal to vertical and trimmed a lot of the artwork to make it look like my head is on a curvy pedestal).

The artwork I found is by John Graham(1881-1961) entitled "Nature Morte" 1929-30:

My eyes have always been a feature many have commented on and I found a fashion photo circa 1960s of those flowery eyes. I wear a lot of berets and I thank Lotte Lenya for that one (found in the same book as the eyes).
