ALL HALLOW'S EVE ... "BEWARE"

Theme Of The Week.................................All Hallows Eve

Halloween - things that go bump in the night! Trick or treats? Ghosts ghouls monsters and skeletons etc. Have fun!

Record Sleeve.......................The Passing Of The Flounder

A hommage to one of my all time favourite artistes and albums - Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band's "Trout Mask Replica" a double album notorious in the late 60's for being unlistenable! It sounded great to me at the time but I still prefer some of his other albums like Strictly Personnal or Ice Cream For Crow to name but a couple. My tastes have changed somewhat over the years but I do have a soft spot for a couple of tracks and the album sleeve is a very memorable!

You thought the Beatles rarity was rare but this Bee Gees rarity is even rarer - in fact it's claimed that this one is the ONLY ONE in existance! Now that's what I call RARE!

ADVERTISEMENT: Lily Pons for Pinkies

Lily Pons (1898-1976) had to keep her hands in great shape when doing the dishes or dying her hair as she was a French-American operatic lyric coloratura soprano and actress who had an active carer from the late 1920s through the early 1970s.
