I can't believe the glorious color of this one! Wow--and so many things to look at! I especially love the grapes being extruded from the telephone handset, the big purple drop, and the icthyosaurs. Are these space comics all ones that you saved from your own childhood, Michael?
If only I had saved all my childhood comics - that would be fantastic but I guess my Mother threw them away - at anyrate I don't have them anymore sadly and if I did I certainly wouldn't use them for collage material. These are from a great paperback I found in a charity shop called "British Comic Art" or something similar.
I think Laurie must have had cheese, pickle AND a big glass of chocolate milk to create this masterpiece!
ReplyDeleteYou could be right CC ! Ha ha!

ReplyDeleteLaurie's unconscious dream psyche is awesome, great work as usual, W!
ReplyDeleteFar-out!
ReplyDeleteThe recent pictures from Mars look so dull compared to this.
