Nevertheless - the dress is red and her lips are red, too.

To Each His Own Fetish

Another marriage between two of my newly purchased used books for collage materials -- the art of the pin-up and shoes!

"Put on your red shoes and dance the blues." -- David Bowie

I picked up a nifty little volume all about shoes.  Wonderful collage resource that came in handy for this week's theme!  (That, by the way, is silent film star Theda Bara.)

Just a Touch of Red

Red Dress

What a coincidence, Mr. Theme Picker...this little piece (from National Geographic scraps) is currently part of an on-line exhibition entitled "Red" at Gallery25N.  You can see it here if you're interested...

Theme of the Week - RED

Yes, anything you like as long as you include something red. Or you can make it all red if you want! Reds under the bed? Painting the town red? Little Red Riding Hood? When the red red robin comes coll coll collaging along! Have fun!

The IT Crowd

A bit too large for the scanner hence the rather wonky photo.

Connie and Blyde ... A Streaking Couple

"She forced me officer!'
"I don't care son, you're lucky we got our ladies blindfolded in time with some hot cups of chicken-soup!"
Oh those good old seventies!

Merry Halloween

Well, I origanally started this one for the Nasty & Nice theme but it got put on the back burner so now it's fitting quite well into the crowd theme. Sneaky eh?

Theme of the Week - LOST IN THE CROWD

Rows upon rows of people in rows. Or gatherings. A football match perhaps? The audience in a theatre? A circus throng? A boat full of mere cats? Whatever you do , make it crowded and have fun!

Which Witch is Nasty and Which Witch is Nice?

Nita and Nastasia

Found photographs, cut paper and a bit of drawing on a photograph I took of a neighbor's front porch last autumn.

Reefer and Spliff

Two typical Dutch dolls in their locale costumes, still very common around fishing-villages. These dolls are mostly sold in coffee- and tourist-shops.
See those very exclusive Dutch expressions on their faces. The Dutch are well known for their arts and crafts. Most Dutch housewives are able to paint Rembrandt's 'Night Watch' on teabags or potato skins (in their spare time).

Also one from my archives.

Birthday Surprise

One from the archive - back when Scrapiteria was still going.

Theme of the Week - NICE & NASTY

Who's nice and who's nasty? Two choices - maybe in the same collage. It's up to you. Have fun!

lost and found in Berlin

I spend some days in Berlin and found this lost city map (background) somewhere on the sidewalk.
I collected some damaged but nice posters and create this collage during a short while tonight.

Found In The Waste Bin

Bits of off cuts and discarded paper picked out of the waste paper bin in my work room and arranged in a frame cut from an old encyclopedia.

Breakfast in Portmeirion

Found a couple of old postcards last week in a box file.
1) Circular English breakfast.
2) Portmeirion Prisoner themed.
Grin is from promotional photography/art magazine!

The Rubbish Collector

This is a great theme, Michael!
I will be out again for some days - so I will show one form the archive
which fits so well to the theme! Hope I can manage to produce one at teh end of our week.

Found in The Reject Pile

Killing two birds with one stone here as I was asked by Hazel to make a collage for the "Lost & Found" project one of her students was doing and had to make one quickly before she went into work. Luckily I found this old one I'd started some time ago and with a few tweaks was able to bring it up to my usual low standard! The student seemed pleased so a bonus all round!

Theme of the Week - LOST & FOUND

Interpret the above theme in any way you like. Have fun!

Miss Robot is having a hard time in front of her Walk-In-Closet.
