Celebrating a new toaster does seem something to smile about I must admit. We were grinning like Cheshire cats when we got ours! We also smile a lot when making cheese toasties in the other contraption that has washable metal plates.
Hah! Well, I certainly do love TOAST. When I saw your headline I thought it might refer to the brilliant Matt Berry as Steven Toast in the 2012 Channel 4 sitcom TOAST of LONDON. A show my husband and I are hooked on at the moment. So I can say I love both forms of toast!

ReplyDeleteI love a good toasted cheese...my mom used to have one of those contraptions...haven't thought about it for years.

ReplyDeleteThanks Michael & Angie. Can't beat a slice or toast or two and a George Foreman cheese toastie too.
ReplyDeleteI've still to catch up with most of Toast of London. What I saw I really enjoyed. Matt's brilliant.
I chose Ed Wynn to front the toast collage as I immediately thought of him as Uncle Albert in Mary Poppins in the I Love to Laugh sequence.
