Theme Of The Week - World Collage Day - 11th May

It's World Collage Day on Saturday apparently so let your imagination run wild and make something appropriate! Of course anything is possible and the world is full of possibilities! Include some glue and scissors maybe or a collagist at work perhaps or something completely different. Have fun! If you are on Instagram you can hashtag #worldcollageday2024

  2. As I stand here, typing this on my laptop, I have been up since 6:00 am (London time) and we just arrived home about two hours ago 6 pm Chicago time so I am so screwed up and just unpacking what I need in the toiletry department and I plan on taking a nice long hot shower and hitting the sheets ... so I will do something for this theme tomorrow. BTW London was very sunny and warm and oh so crowded. My favorite leg of the trip was a visit to St. Albans! And a bite at The Waffle House. Yum.

  3. We lived in London for many years..it was getting busier and busier…hope you enjoyed your trip.?..London always feels hotter than anywhere else in the UK…it’s the concrete…the jet lag is hard to cope with …I slept for 18 hours when I got back from New York.

    1. Hi Hazel, the trip involved a lot of time coordinating activities with family and to travel to their part of town was an expensive cab or Uber ride and I will just say that I really enjoyed taking the train to St. Albans. I live in a big city and do not enjoy crowds and tourists (ha ha me being one of them this time) and one of my favorite visits to the UK was the time we flew to London, hired a Blue Badge and were driven to Chipping Campden in the Cotswolds where we stayed for a couple of days. Got to see Stonehenge and visit the town of Stratford-upon-Avon, etc. A memorable experience. I loved it.
