From the archives. Based on the Rolling Stones song from their dip into psychedelia. Matchbox labels from our collection which reminds me the North West Phillumenists meet up soon in Northwich so must pop along and get some more colourful ephemera!

After the restrictions of a limited color palette last week, we now can go wild with colors. Somewhere over the rainbow we'll find joyful, vibrant splashes of color in our stacks of papers.

The vertical banner and words from a vintage ART in AMERICA magazine, "The Swing" by Jean-Honore Fragonard c. 1765, sketch of woman from a how to draw book, landscape behind her from a Georgia O'Keeffe painting, being overlooked by a painting by Paul Klee and finally a beautiful flower from one of my gardening books.

This was really fun to do. I had to real dig a lot to come up with these images!
