We live in a pretty full house..we both collect stuff..toys,books,material,more toys,tins,DVDs cassettes,records and of course plenty of art on the walls.
My sister collects a lot of ceramic things…so this is what I was thinking of when I did this collage.
A fine image of organised chaos....I've found it's good to have a beer handy while working out where the clutter (er, ...collection) goes. :D

ReplyDeleteI also live in a "curated" house full of artistic pieces/figurines that each mean something to me, plenty of art on the walls etc. etc. It overwhelms new visitors who either ask "how on earth are you ever going to move" or "how do you dust all this"? Ha ha. Hey, if it gives one joy that is all that matters. And it is an extension of who we are, all on display for the world to see!
