Reminds me! Yes, on a musical note I might mention the record shop in Chester where we went today. (Hazel went off to look for clothes ) . I always miss the opening times so nice to find The Land Of Pink and Grey ( after an old Caravan album title ) open for a change and full of old blokes sifting through the vinyl, I stuck to the cheaper CD's and found a couple on the World Music bin - Youssou N'dour and Ishmael Lo - both from Senegal. Only £2.99 each, so I was well happy.
Good one Ron...music evokes such emotions I cannot image a day without it! And I fondly remember old TV shows that featured the current musical artists. What a great era we all experienced.
Excellent! Reninds me of those old TV pop shows of the 60;s - Thank Your Lucky Stars, 6 -5 Special etc.
ReplyDeleteCheers Michael, those pop shows were the greatest...Ready Steady Go! was a fave.

ReplyDeleteThanks Angie. Good to view those old shows online now including catching up on appearances we didn't see here in the UK first time round.
