Dreams of Pleasant School Days
The background is an antique photo-offset lithograph print of Old Faithful Geyser, Yellowstone National Park, circa 1902, published by A. W. Mumford, Chicago. Various other elements from Dover clip-art books and a children's book.
That's what my husband said Josephine. Actually the only things cut from the children's book are the globe and the hour glass. The rest are reproductions from the Dover clip art series including the sleeping child.
MUCH nicer than my school dreams, CC! (There's the one about forgetting to put my dress on, the one about forgetting to go to class all semester long, the one about...)
A REALLY SWEET collage!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue!
DeleteLove the elements of the children's book, this could well be a book illustration!

ReplyDeleteAhhhhh...the classic "school-anxiety" dream...oh yes, I still get those once in a while, like WAIT! I didn't study for that test!! Oh no!!!
DeleteReminds me on my own dreams- I could not wait to go to school! Nice!
ReplyDeleteThank you and that's nice to hear Sabine. I loved going to school too.
