Collaborative traditional cut and paste (scissors and glue ) collage blog with a weekly set theme.
Something fishy going on here!
This is great, Angie! I love the way most of the lines converge on a point near the lower lefthand corner: and yet some converge toward a higher point: at any rate, lots of motion! Did you make those lines yourself, with paint? If so, what kind?
No, I never draw or paint on my collages. The background I believe, is a circa 1920s cover of the magazine "ASIA" which was published from 1898-1946. During the 1920s the covers were very Art Deco influenced. I am not sure where it is from because I have such a large volume of pre-cut images and I did not put a notation on the back of this one (as I sometimes do) to alert me where the image was found.
Angie, are you familiar with the flickr group called "Fish 'n' Paper"? You should definitely post this collage to that group!
I am and it is! :)
