DREAM

The motion in this piece is static.  Dreamlike.

The image and all the lines are cut out of a college literary magazine from the 1970s.  Some of the lines were from short stories and others from poems.  I assembled and re-assembled until I made this verse entitled DREAM.

  1. Beautifully assembled, Angie: I especially love "The city is losing its patience" and "you with the apple blossom ass." =smile=

  2. Fabulous poem, CC, serious and funny, love the "thank you" at the end, and you did a great job of integrating word and image.

  3. The poem is wonderful. Clever idea to take whole lines from short stories... and mix them to something new. My favorite line is the "A.#$%&*1/4+=1/2%$###&!3/4!"

  4. Nice monochrome collage. I like that last line too.
