THE KOLLGE KIT banner project

Here is my submission.  Had fun going through lots of books and magazines to get images.  My favorite image on the banner (woman being shot from a cannon) was found in one of my favorite books to cut up -- The Saturday Book.  I only have one copy of The Saturday Book as they are hard to come by in the States.

  1. This is fabulous—'love the gal coming out of the cannon!—but I'm a little bit confused: this one looks shorter & fatter than 4 cm by 30 cm. Are we not supposed to make them that size?

    2. Yeah you are correct Fi, I did not follow the rules. :)

I couldn't make the banner out of these elements with the size restriction.

  2. Love it, CC, and it's nicely set off by the faded green background, well done!

    1. Thanks Lynn! It was fun to do even if the size is wrong. (Sorry Michael.)

  6. Thanks Sabine & Michael & Josephine ... I will make one in the right size. In the meantime I will enjoy this one as a piece of art that will always fondly remind me of you all!

    1. Thanks Ron. I put the teddy bear on the cannon last. I thought he completed the picture!

  8. Gorgeous design. If you were to add a fancy border around the edges that might fix the size problem. Still, I like it as it is.

    1. Thanks CD. Actually the problem is the height of the banner. To use all those pieces I had to make it be that wide. But I like it a lot and even if Michael can't use it I will probably frame it and hang it in my studio!

    2. Can use them all - discovered the shrink to fit box I failed to tick last time. Sorry for confusion!

    3. This is SUCH GOOD NEWS!! I didn't want to make another one (hee hee). At least for The Kollage Kit. I should make one for COLLAGE CRAFT (me!) the blog I never post to.

    1. Sorry you feel you have been contrainted . Really anything goes on KK - the guidelines are just there for people who need them ( like me!) . Please feel free to make a banner of your choosing - it could be for your own website or for a made up one.
