Something about the juxtaposition of the lovely seascape, her dreamy-eyed expression and a creepy snake hat is satisfyingly disturbing...great job, CC!
Thanks all! That dramatic backdrop made this collage! I have a vintage Walter Foster Instruction Book of The Sea in Action by Earl Daniels. I just GOOGLED him and found that:
Earl I. Daniels, California painter of landscapes, seascapes, coastal scenes was born in New York City where he worked both as a commercial artist and jazz musician. Mr. Daniels passed away in 1999.
I've heard of snake skin shoes but not hats!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find Angie, 'Betlindis' sounds great to me.

ReplyDeleteThat background is awesome, and I agree with Lynn, it goes very well with her expression and the beautiful snake.
