The Mathematics of Creation

According to Greek mythology, humans were originally created with four arms, four legs, and a head with two faces.  Fearing the potential power of such beings, Zeus split them into two separate but incomplete beings, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other halves.

      I ripped the page out of my new Sunset Magazine, and they say it's some kind of exotic spiky cactus-like flower with a long name that I promptly forgot...

    Thanks, all. I've had that 4 legs/4 arms/2 faces idea sitting around forever, and this theme allowed me to get rid of it!
