Inspired by Joe Jackson track "Sunday Papers"
Here's some Joe for a Sunday musical interlude:

  1. Very nice papering! What ever happened to Joe Jackson? I'll have to Google him. Always disapointed that I missed his guest spot on the Charlie Gillet radio show back in the 80's ( on Capital I think it was?) where apparently he played some nice West African music and anticipated the "world music" scene that grew up soon after.

  2. Great choice of words on his, Ron! I remember paper clothes (dresses) in the 60s...from time to time I run across a vintage packaged item from that craze. I don't buy them, though. Thanks for the link to the Joe Jackson song! Just listened. Great song. Loved Joe Jackson. He is still actively recording (according to Wikipedia!) Now lives in Berlin.

  3. Thanks Michael & Angie.
Joe's albums have always been interesting. He still tours a bit. He's on episode 81 of Sodajerker Songwriter Podcasts...a recommended website, loads of great interviews on there.
