Gulp. Looks like The Bear's foraging has just hit paydirt...or maybe he'll be like Andy Williams's Bear and just be happy with a cookie. Great collage and thanks Angie, for introducing me to F.Porter's work. I really like his paintings.
Ha ha...I was going to actually have the bookworm sitting on a bee skep, but that would have been too obvious. And I GOOGLED "Andy Williams and the Bear" and I have never seen this skit before! And Jimmy Durante too!! Loved it. Don't we always learn something new on The Kollage Kit? And I am happy to have introduced you to Fairfield Porter:
Fairfield Porter was an American artist who produced representational paintings during the heyday of Abstract Expressionism. Porter viewed his practice as a marriage between the intimate depictions of everyday life by Pierre Bonnard and Édouard Vuillard, with the lush paint handling of his friend Willem de Kooning.

Bears looking for a quick snack! Nice combo!
ReplyDeleteThanks. It really does look like that bear is zeroing in on him and thinking...I had my choice of bears to place in that setting...
