Yes, I wore contacts for many years and in the end a pair I over wore compromised my eyes (temporarily) and I switched to the tried and true bespectacled look!
Good one, Ron. I hear with cataract surgery you can sometimes go without correction, however I am so near sighted I think I would then have to reach for those readers (which I do not have to do now, I can use an Exacto-knife with precision)! But ask me to identify, without my specs, that person across the room...

Ha ha! yes glasses are best. Poking yourself in the eye ( as John Hegley once said) isn't much fun!
